Illinois Laws Strengthen Protections For Older Adults, Children, People With Disabilities & Those Living With Serious Mental Illness

Illinois has implemented a package of six bills designed to protect older adults, children, people with disabilities, and individuals living with serious mental illness. The legislation is intended to promote independence, guard against exploitation, expand access to critical services, and strengthen oversight across the state's care systems.
