Illinois Issues New Procurement For Medicaid HealthChoice Illinois Managed Care Contracts

The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) is seeking proposals for its Medicaid HealthChoice Illinois (HCI) managed care organization (MCO) contracts to serve the state’s general Medicaid population. The state released a request for proposals (RFP 26-478HFS-MEDPR-B-49167) on September 15, 2025, with responses due by November 13, 2025. Contract execution for the initial contract term is scheduled for July 1, 2026.
