Indiana Behavioral Health Commission Makes 20 Recommendations & Requests $50 Million To Improve Behavioral Health System
The Indiana Behavioral Health Commission (BHC) has made 20 recommendations for improving the state's behavioral health system. The BHC has also requested that $50 million for the upcoming fiscal year be allocated to implement these recommendations on top of an annual $50 million secured previously to resolve a problem that cost the state more than $4 billion annually, followed by $120 million for the 2026 fiscal year for a total of $220 million for the state's behavioral health infrastructure.
