Indiana Receives Federal Approval On PathWays Waiver To Transition LTSS To Managed Care
On June 4, 2024, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) received federal approval for waivers that will enable it to move Medicaid long-term services and supports (LTSS) to managed care as of July 1, 2024. Under the Section 1915c Home and Community Based Services PathWays for Aging demonstration waiver, FSSA will transition individuals served by the state’s expired Aged and Disabled Waiver who are 60 or older into PathWays for Aging.
