Indiana Recommends Four Health Plans For $15 Billion In Medicaid MLTSS Contracts
On March 1, 2023, Indiana announced plans to recommend contracts for its new Medicaid managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS) program—Indiana Pathways for Aging—to four managed care organizations (MCOs): Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Humana/Arcadian Health Plan, Molina Healthcare of Indiana, and UnitedHealthcare. Individual contracts are each $3.85 billion ($15.39 billion total) over an initial four-year term, which is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2024.
