Indiana Seeks Regional Evidence-Based School & Community Behavioral Health Disorder Prevention Services
The Indiana Family and Social Services (FSSA), Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) is preparing to launch a regional evidence-based school and community program to prevent substance use and promote healthy behaviors among students, caregivers, educators, and the community. For this program, DMHA intends to select up to three regionally diverse social service provider organizations to initiate or continue implementation of evidence-based programs that partner with school corporations, charter schools, and accredited nonpublic schools to provide social work services and evidence-based programs. The Indiana Legislature appropriated $5.5 million for these contracts.
