Indiana To Rebid Contracts For Its Four Medicaid Managed Care Programs In A $68 Billion Procurement Expected In August 2026
The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) plans to rebid managed care organization (MCO) contracts for its four Medicaid managed care programs during August 2026, according to the agency’s second quarter financial review. The procurement will involve: Healthy Indiana Plan, Hoosier Healthwise, Hoosier Care Connect, and Indiana PathWays for Aging.
The presentation for the review referred to this as “the mother of all procurements” because it will involve all four programs at the same time and have an aggregate value of $68 billion. Together, the four programs serve 1.4 million people.
