Iowa Accepting Applications For CCBHC Demonstration Program

Iowa is moving forward to implement the Medicaid certified community behavioral health clinic (CCBHC) demonstration and is seeking provider organizations interested in participating. In March 2023, Iowa was among 15 states awarded a CCBHC expansion planning grant by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA). The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) released the request for proposals (RFP MHDS 24-009) on September 30, 2023, with proposals due by November 3, 2023.
