Japanese Company LITALICO Acquires Developmental Disability Centers Of Nebraska
On June 14, 2024, LITALICO, a Japan-based for-profit organization that provides services for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Japan, announced it had acquired Developmental Disability Centers of Nebraska (DDCN) for $50 million. The acquisition closed on June 28, 2024.
According to the announcement, LITALICO intends to accelerate the expansion of DDCN’s Nebraska business and gain expertise in the disability services market in the US. It is planning business expansion both domestically and internationally.
