Insurance Carrier Employment Falls For First Time Since COVID-19, Down 29,000 In 2025
During 2025, employment in the insurance carriers and related activities sector declined by 29,000 jobs, decreasing from approximately 3.03 million at the start of the year to about 3.00 million by year-end, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
