Kansas Issues RFPs For Child Welfare Services

On May 31, 2018, the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) released two grant requests for proposals (RFPs), one seeking family preservation services and the other seeking foster care and adoption case management services. A mandatory letter of intent is due by July 13, 2018, and responses are due by August 9, 2018. DCF intends to announce awards no later than December 2018. The new contracts are slated to go live on July 1, 2019 and will run through June 30, 2023.

The two RFPs incorporate a number of changes from the current family preservation and foster care case . . .
