Kentucky General Assembly Budget Cuts Force Lee Specialty Clinic For People With I/DD To Scale Back Outpatient Services
Lee Specialty Clinic, a state-operated provider organization serving individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD), will scale back its outpatient services beginning July 15, 2026. Budget changes adopted by the Kentucky General Assembly reduced the clinic's funding by approximately $4.5 million, representing a 66% reduction.
The clinic provides primary care, dental care, mental health services, behavioral health services, therapeutic services, and other supports for individuals with I/DD.
