Kentucky Governor Reverses Planned 4% Medicaid Rate Cut Using $255 Million In State Surplus

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced on July 29, 2026, that he will use $255 million in unexpected state revenue to reverse the General Assembly's planned 4% Medicaid provider rate cut scheduled to take effect on August 1, 2026.
