On April 28, 2021, a state judge vacated Kentucky’s Medicaid managed care contracts due to flaws in the procurement process, and ordered the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) to rebid them. The judge said the state refused to consider all aspects of bids and a potential conflict of interest at one of the companies.
