KidsPeace Collaborates With Magellan To Launch A New Residential Treatment Program In Pennsylvania
On August 25, 2020, KidsPeace announced it launched a new youth psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) in Pennsylvania; the program was developed in collaboration with Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania. The program, “Explorer PRTF,” is licensed for eight beds. It currently serves males ages 13 to 18 with severe behavioral challenges stemming from traumatic events that are more severe than those normally addressed in traditional PRTF programming. The program is operating at KidsPeace’s Orchard Hills Campus in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
