King County Metro To Implement Performance-Based Paratransit Contract
King County, Washington is changing its contracts for the “Access” paratransit services for people with disabilities who are not able to use traditional fixed-route bus services. The county intends to consolidate the current three contracts into one contract that implements performance-based incentives and disincentives. The goal is to improve services and address community concerns and recommendations made by the King County Auditor in June 2017.
