Lawsuit Challenges Tennessee Delays In Medicaid Application Determinations
The Tennessee Medicaid program, TennCare, is being sued for delays in processing Medicaid applications submitted through the federal health insurance marketplace since October 1, 2013. In a new, but interim, enrollment process, TennCare required all applicants and existing beneficiaries to apply through the online federal health insurance marketplace website.
