LifeSkills, Inc. Regional Mental Health Crisis Intake Center Breaks Ground—First Of Its Kind In Kentucky

LifeSkills, Inc. and the Barren River Area Development District (BRADD) broke ground on a mental health crisis intake center described as the first of its kind in Kentucky. The center is intended to serve the 10 BRADD counties with comprehensive care for those in crisis, with the goal of reducing response times for mental health emergencies. LifeSkills will operate the facility, leveraging almost 60 years of experience serving the mental health and substance use disorder needs of the region.
