Livongo Health To Provide Chronic Disease Management Services For BCBS Federal Employee Program
On October 2, 2019, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program® (FEP) announced that it contracted with Livongo Health to provide the Livongo for Diabetes health management solution for members covered by the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) who also have type 1 or type 2 diabetes. In an October 7 press release, Livongo Health said it signed a two-year agreement. The program will begin on January 1, 2020. Livongo Health expects a nine- to twelve-month deployment period to those eligible members living with diabetes.
