On May 3, 2022, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) announced the launch of the "All Families Connected" program. This program uses federal funding to sponsor high-speed internet service for households where students lack the necessary connectivity to participate fully in their education. The school district has pledged $50 million of federal funding towards the program. LAUSD contracted with Charter Communications and AT&T to provide the high-speed internet services to families.
