Los Angeles Unified School District Launches A $50 Million Effort For No-Cost High-Speed Internet Service To Address Digital Divide

On May 3, 2022, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) announced the launch of the "All Families Connected" program. This program uses federal funding to sponsor high-speed internet service for households where students lack the necessary connectivity to participate fully in their education. The school district has pledged $50 million of federal funding towards the program.
