People with atopic dermatitis (AD), such as eczema, have high levels of mental health burden, but many do not receive adequate mental health support from the clinical professional providing care for their skin condition, despite experiencing significant mental health systems. According to a survey of more than 950 adults with AD and caregivers of children with AD, half said the clinical professional providing AD care did not ask about their mental health systems.
