Magellan Behavioral Health Of Pennsylvania Starts As New HealthChoices BH-MCO For Bedford & Somerset Counties

Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania (Magellan) started a new contract with Behavioral Health Services of Somerset and Bedford Counties, Inc.,(BHSSBC) in Pennsylvania as the region’s new Medicaid HealthChoices behavioral health managed care organization (BH-MCO) November 1, 2025. Magellan announced the contract on November 20, 2025. The contract terms and value were not disclosed.

Community Care Behavioral Health (CCBH) was the previous contract holder.
