Magellan Health has acquired 70% interest in Bayless Integrated Healthcare, an integrated behavioral and primary care provider organization in Arizona. In a December 22 press release, Magellan said that Bayless will serve as a growth platform for expansion of Magellan Connect, a new collaborative behavioral health primary care model. Bayless will operate within Magellan’s health care segment. Financial details have not been released.

Within 36 months of the closing date, Magellan and Bayless’s owners have certain call rights and put rights, respectively, with respect to the transfer to Magellan of the remaining equity in Bayless. The owners also . . .
