Maine To Hire Consultant To Review Medicaid Reimbursement Rates For Behavioral Services
The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) intends to hire a consultant to review its Medicaid provider organization reimbursement rates for mental health, addiction disorder, and individuals with intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD). The target date for completion of the review is November 2020. Currently, the state does not have a standardized method for determining provider organization reimbursement rates, and has used a variety of methods over the years.
