Maintaining Independence Is Biggest Draw For Potential Senior Living Residents
Maintaining independence is the biggest draw for potential senior living residents, according to a new global survey from the MicKinsey Health Institute international survey about older adults' attitudes about healthy aging. Overall, 80% of older adults said they want to live in their own home, but many are not able. A total of 91% of those living in their own home or apartment wished to remain there, and 71% of those not living in their own home or apartment wished they could return and remain there safely.
