The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) extended a temporary moratorium on new Medicaid enrollment for certain behavioral health provider organizations in 10 Maryland counties, a measure the department framed as part of its ongoing effort to identify and address potential fraud, waste, and abuse within the provider organization network.
