Massachusetts To Launch Health Equity Initiative With Maternal Health & Chronic Conditions As First Targets
Massachusetts is launching a plan to eliminate racial, economic, and regional disparities in health outcomes related to poor maternal health, and to identify social determinants of health (SDOH) linked to higher rates of chronic disease. The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) presented its plan to improve health outcomes in its Advancing Health Equity in Massachusetts (AHEM) initiative.
