Massachusetts Medicaid 1115 Waiver Amendment Proposes 24-Month Continuous Eligibility To Homeless Adults Age 65+
The Massachusetts Medicaid program (MassHealth) is preparing an amendment to its 1115 waiver that proposes to provide continuous eligibility for homeless adults over age 65. The amendment also includes a proposal to provide Medicaid services to incarcerated individuals during the 90-days before release, in order to address health inequities experienced by justice-involved populations.
The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) released the draft amendment for public comment on August 2, 2023, with comments accepted through September 9, 2023.
