Massachusetts Sues CleanSlate Addiction Treatment Centers Over Alleged False Medicaid Claims
The Massachusetts attorney general is suing CleanSlate Centers, Inc. over alleged false Medicaid claims for unnecessary urine drug tests for people receiving medication-assisted addiction treatment. The state also alleges that CleanSlate violated federal and state self-referral laws because the urine tests were performed at the company’s own laboratory.
