MassHealth Selects Community Partner Organizations For ACOs – 8 For LTSS & 18 For Behavioral Health
On August 28, 2017, Massachusetts Medicaid (MassHealth) announced it had selected 26 provider organizations to enter negotiations to become designated Community Partners, the next step of the rollout of the MassHealth Accountable Care Organization (ACO) program. Eight of the organizations provide long-term services and supports (LTSS), and 18 provide behavioral health services. The primary care ACOs will establish formal partnerships with the selected certified Community Partner organizations to integrate and improve member health outcomes of approximately 60,000 MassHealth members with complex long term medical and/or behavioral health needs.
