Mayfair Group Acquires Addiction Treatment Provider Praesum Healthcare For $18.5 Million In Bankruptcy Auction

Mayfair Group has acquired addiction treatment provider Praesum Healthcare Services for $18.5 million through a bankruptcy auction following the organization's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in August 2025. Praesum said the acquisition will strengthen its ability to deliver behavioral health and addiction treatment services throughout the Eastern United States.

Praesum Healthcare is a Florida-based, multi-state addiction treatment platform operating more than 30 centers across the Eastern United States. Its treatment network includes Sunrise Detox, The Counseling Center, and Evolve Recovery Center.
