Medicare Launches Post-Payment Review Of Home Health Stays Lasting 361 Days Or Longer

Medicare has launched post-payment reviews of Medicare Part A home health stays lasting 361 days or longer. The review will focus on provider organizations that billed for long home health stays from January 1 through December 31, 2024. The review is nationwide and is not limited to a specific Medicare contractor jurisdiction. Noridian has not reported how many claims or provider organizations will be selected for review.
