Medicare To Allow MFT & MHC Clinicians To Bill For Mental Health Therapy Effective January, 2024

Under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) for 2024, mental health counselors (MHCs) and addiction counselors, as well as marriage and family therapists (MFTs) will be able to enroll with Medicare and bill independently under Medicare Part B for services, effective January 1, 2024.
