Maricopa RBHA Changing Children’s Behavioral Health Contracting Model
Starting January 1, 2015, Mercy Maricopa, the new Maricopa County (Phoenix) Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) managing the public behavioral health system in areas of Arizona is changing how it contracts for children’s behavioral health services. Mercy Maricopa mentioned the changes in an October 10, 2014 letter to the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). Mercy Maricopa manages services in Arizona Geographic Service Area 6 (GSA 6), which includes Maricopa County and a slice of Pinal County.
