Michigan Launching An In-Home Youth Services Initiative; RFP Released

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is launching an in-home services program for youth (ages 10 to 20) in the juvenile justice system in rural areas. The new program will serve as an additional alternative to placement in residential facilities by juvenile courts.

The grant-funded services will be available starting May 1, 2023, in rural counties with a population of 75,000 or less. The initial program period runs through September 20, 2023, and additional funding may be available to cover services from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
