The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is planning to launch new child welfare workforce training and mentoring services. The focus of the initiative is to help build resiliency and prepare Michigan's child welfare workforce leaders to facilitate transformation towards a system that is more trauma-informed, driven by the well-being of staff and families, and focused on early prevention and intervention. A key goal is increasing MDHHS front-line staff engagement rates, trust in leadership, and the overall sense of teamwork. MDHHS released a request for proposals (RFP 200000002415) for this work on October 21 . . .
