In September and October, 2022, the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) awarded $4 million in one-time grants to 12 organizations to provide technologies and services to help older adults and people with disabilities live independently and access Medicaid home- and community-based services (HCBS). The grantees will provide training on using various technologies to strengthen, enhance, and potentially expand the number of people able to access HCBS services. This grant funding will serve up to 4,400 people across the 12 grantee organizations.
