Minnesota Medicaid Disenrolls 61% Of Provider Organizations Delivering Services At High Risk Of Fraud, Most For Incomplete Paperwork
After completing reviews of 5,583 Medicaid provider organizations delivering services at high risk of fraud, the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) notified 61%, 3,411 organizations, that they would be disenrolled, according to a recent announcement. The remaining 2,061 were revalidated and are providing Medicaid services without interruption.
About 73% of the 3,411 disenrolled organizations (representing 2,491 organizations) had submitted incomplete paperwork or documentation for the review.
