Minnesota Medicaid Revalidation Process Disenrolls 61% Of Provider Organizations; Temporary Reinstatement Enacted For Some
After completing reviews of 5,583 Medicaid provider organizations delivering services the state has identified as high risk for fraud, the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) notified 3,411 organizations (61%) that they would be disenrolled, according to a recent announcement. The remaining organizations were revalidated and may continue providing Medicaid services without interruption.
About 73% of the 3,411 disenrolled organizations (2,491 organizations) submitted incomplete paperwork or documentation during the review process.
