Minnesota Planning RFPs For Prepaid Medical Assistance Program/MinnesotaCare & For Special Needs BasicCare Program
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) plans to release procurements for the Prepaid Medical Assistance Program (PMAP) and MinnesotaCare together, possibly as soon as early 2026. A procurement for the Special Needs BasicCare (SNBC) program could be released as soon as early 2027. Together these programs serve nearly one million state residents. A DHS spokesperson said the exact release dates and cadences in the state procurement schedule for these programs have not been finalized.
