Mississippi Awards Joint Medicaid +CHIP Managed Care Contracts To Three Health Plans

On August 10, 2022, the Mississippi Division of Medicaid (DOM) announced that it intended to award three managed care organizations (MCOs) contracts for the Mississippi Coordinated Access Network (MississippiCAN) traditional Medicaid program and the state Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The three MCOs chosen were Centene/Magnolia Health Plan, Molina Healthcare, and TrueCare in partnership with CareSource.
