On July 14, 2021, the state of Missouri passed measures to benefit and assist juvenile inmates. Senate Bill (SB) 26 offers parole to life-sentence juveniles, SB 53 keeps certain juveniles from being charged as adults, House Bill (HB) 432 offers, and SB 793 prevents juveniles from being prosecuted as adults.

Passed by the Missouri legislature during the 2021 legislative session, these laws stem from Senate and House of Representatives bills. While some bills mandate more than just juvenile justice legislation, those clauses which apply to juvenile justice include:
