Molina Texas Medicaid Plan Pays First Quarterly Incentive Payments To Nursing Homes

In September 2015, Molina Healthcare of Texas issued the first quarterly incentive payments totaling $191,000 to 52 nursing homes through the Molina Quality of Living Program. The program rewards nursing homes in Molina’s network for meeting seven specific quality measures. Participating nursing facilities can gain financial payments of up to $70 per resident per month. The facilities can also qualify for quarterly payments for supplies or facility equipment available to all residents. The program is available to any contracted nursing facility located in a Molina Healthcare of Texas service area.
