Montana Launches Housing Task Force To Find Solutions For Affordable & Attainable Housing

On July 14, 2022, Montana Governor Greg Gianforte issued an executive order to create a housing advisory council as a task force to recommend how to make housing more affordable and attainable. The governor directed the task force to develop recommendations the legislature could consider and recommendations that state agencies could implement administratively, as well as recommendations and best practices local jurisdictions could enact.
