Nebraska Becomes Tenth & Final State Needed To Launch Multi-State Counseling Compact For Licensed Counselors

On April 19, 2022, the American Counseling Association announced that the tenth state needed—Nebraska— had signed legislation to support the Counseling Compact to allow licensed professional counselors to practice across state lines, without obtaining multiple licenses. Compacts provide a way for states to recognize another state’s license more easily and grant privilege to practice.
