Nebraska DHHS Awards $12 Million Child Welfare Case Worker Training Grant

On November 30, 2017, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) awarded the Center on Children, Families, and the Law (CCFL) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln a five-year grant valued at $12 million to provide training for new child welfare case worker trainees and professional development for current case workers. CCFL is the incumbent provider and has been delivering this training for many years. The first 14-week training session in 2018 will begin January 16.
