Nebraska DHHS Extends PromiseShip Child Welfare Case Management Contract Through December 2019

On December 7, 2018, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Children and Family Services (CFS), announced it had extended its child welfare case management contract with PromiseShip for six more months. PromiseShip, previously Nebraska Families Collaborative, is a private non-profit organization that serves the Eastern Service Area (ESA) which includes Douglas and Sarpy counties. DHHS extended the contract to allow additional time to finalize a request for proposals (RFP) for ESA child welfare case management services after the current contract expires. DHHS anticipates releasing the RFP in January 2019.
