Nevada Reissues RFP For Specialty Managed Care Plan For Children With Complex Behavioral Health Needs
The Nevada Health Authority, Division of Nevada Medicaid reissued Request for Proposals (RFP 41NHA-S3708) seeking a contractor to provide specialty risk-based capitated managed care services for children and youth with complex behavioral health needs. The rebid was released February 12, 2026, with proposals due May 1, 2026.
Final awards are anticipated by July 28, 2026. The contract is scheduled to take effect July 1, 2027, with an initial 3.5-year term running through December 31, 2030, followed by an optional two-year extension. There is currently no incumbent specialty managed care plan under this model.
