Nevada Releases RFP For Child Welfare/Children’s Behavioral Health Managed Care Organization
The Nevada Medicaid program plans to contract with a managed care organization (MCO) to provide a specialty plan for children involved in the child welfare system and those with behavioral health disabilities. The plan will also cover youth with dual diagnoses of intellectual or developmental disabilities, substance use disorder, and other complex medical health needs. Eligibility for the plan is broader than the focus population, in alignment with Nevada’s health transformation goals. The MCO will be responsible for physical health, behavioral health, transportation, and pharmacy services.
