New CogDRisk Online Tool Found To Be Effective At Assessing Dementia Risk
A new “CogDRisk” online tool is effective at predicting the likelihood of developing dementia among older adults without cognitive impairment. The tool was tested with four data sets that included more than 9,500 individuals with normal cognition. Across the four data sets, the tool identified from 66% and 77% of individuals who later developed dementia.
The CogDRisk tool was developed by researchers at the University of New South Wales and Neuroscience Research Australia.
